Expertise
Laurent Schwab advises both French and foreign international groups on Corporate Tax matters and small-and-medium sized companies.
He specializes in direct taxation and mainly handles corporate taxation matters. He advises his clients on their day-to-day direct tax matters as well as on their internal restructurings or acquisitions & divestments of assets or activities. His expertise also extends to audit defense procedures and tax litigation.
Laurent also assists VP tax or CFOs on their management of the tax function within their group.
He co-leads the tax compliance team in charge of corporate tax compliance matters.
Laurent started his career in 1998 within the Group tax department of Sanofi. During this period, he was in charge among other things, within the tax department, of the strategic M&A and business development projects (JV, licensing, divestments, acquisition of businesses, etc.) involving management of intellectual property rights.
Laurent joined Deloitte Société d'Avocats in 2007.
