Maud has more than 28 years of experience in M&A international tax transactions. As M&A International tax Lawyer, she has demonstrated successful track records in leading, coordinating and executing large, complex cross-border transactions for both primary high-profile Private Equity Investors and strategic corporate buyers. She also acts as Global Lead Tax Partner for monitoring Deloitte International Tax services rendered to French headquartered quoted groups, and assists them in their legal structures and cross-border tax strategies. She has spent the majority of her career working in a transactional setting and has extensive experience advising PE funds and Corporate Buyers on mergers and acquisitions, integrations, and reorganizations in both domestic and international contexts. In her M&A capacity, Maud has led significant transactions in a number of industry sectors spanning activities such as tax diligence, structure design, implementation, integration, and optimization. Leveraging on her various assignment overseas, she does serve on the largest US/UK private equity houses and advises on the tax structuring of the investment aiming at effective financial leverage, facilitating cash repatriation while eliminating or minimizing exit tax costs. On multi-jurisdictions engagement, she closely works and coordinates with the Deloitte Client Engagement Team. As M&A International Tax Partner, she assists Executives and Top Management of large publicly held corporations and advises US-based multinational clients in matters involving business reorganization/supply chain management, corporate restructuring, effective income repatriation strategies, efficient financing and recapitalization structure. She acts as Risk Reputation Leader for the Law Firm.
